🙄 Just a fraction slow

PACE

Sadly this didn’t happen on Monday. Bashed up my legs falling over on a hill walk in the Lakes on Sunday. Moved it and did 2 hours on Wednesday night, didn’t have the time to fit 4hr in unfortunately. The run felt good though, took it steady and kept the pace. Felt strong and could of kept going for sure, had time allowed. Would quite like to do a 4hr one before the marathon, perhaps I might extended my 3hr one in a couple weeks time?

🤦‍♂️ Oh dear. You’re not the first to pick up an injury not running. These things happen. I’ll tweak the plan and look to put the 4 hour run in next week, we certainly don’t want to do it any closer to race day but I do understand it’s importance for confidence. I did have a quick look to see if there was a half marathon that weekend near you but couldn’t find anything suitable. But leave it with me, I’ll add it for next week.
