90 Mins

LOAD: 27

90 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Keep this nice and easy. Focus on good form & efficient running economy. RPE should be around the 3/10 which means you can run and chat.

๐Ÿ‘Š Nailed my target

PACE

A new day another run ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿ˜Š back in my comfort Zone and happy place on a slower but longer run. 9 miles in a few mins over my 90 mins target. Great weather and a lovely chatty catch up with the girls on route. Just felt no pressure like I do with the 5k park runs. I totally understand they are needed and help massively with speed work but for some reason I just feel I struggle with it. I wonโ€™t give up on in though! But today was just about what I love in my running. Felt strong and could have happily continued but stopped as per plan ๐Ÿ˜Š Really to take on what next week has in store. I do hope you are feeling a little better from your ๐Ÿฆ  virus youโ€™ve had.

Glad this went well Michelle. Perhaps we had one too many parkruns in their recently, which is fine. Going forward if you stick on a plan we don’t need to attempt many fast parkruns. Once every 8 weeks is normally a good ratio as it gives you time in between to improve. Really pleased this run went well. Thanks for asking. Slowly getting there, although bit anxious now about the effect of not eating properly for 4 days will have on my marathon. I’ve got 5 or 6 days to make amends though and at least the legs will be fresh ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
