Gym Workout 💪

LOAD: 15

Keep the gym stuff simply and always ensure any changes are small.

First time.back at the gym in weeks, felt really good to be back doing some more challenging strength work. Concentrated on core and legs coz my arms were still really fricked from the last strength session. Has taken ages to recover!

My concern with you is how hard you push yourself when you do hit the gym. I’ve probably said this time and time again, those on the team doing well with their S&C, keep it simple and consistent. They’re not actually pushing that hard, but because they’re doing it twice a week, every week, they’re still seeing those gains and it’s complimenting their running. Paul Lambert a great example. He’s transformed over the past 18 months, without ever really pushing his limits. His workout is tough, but it never stops him running the next day and he’s still made some really impressive gains.
