🤬 Way off pace today

Yeah so 3 days straight wasn’t a good idea, actually 4 days straight. I don’t know if it’s the doms or not but how am I still suffering from the gym?! I didn’t even go that hard but every part of me hurts! I’ve been fasting this week which has helped with my stomach a lot but not the energy levels I needed for a long run. Nick was saying I’m not taking in enough protein and that’s why I’m taking a long time to recover, reckon there’s some truth in that? I had to stop in the end and walk through rest. Just I didn’t have it in me to carry on, very frustrating!

Nutrition really isn’t my strong point in truth, but it could definitely be an issue. Fasting and exercise are not a good combination though and would most likely explain why you found this one tough. Given the issues you’ve had, if you can afford it, I’d be investing in a really good nutritionist. Not one that is just going to give you a plan, but recommend blood tests etc to get to the bottom of your issues.
