I now feel absolutely fucked! Just under 30 miles since 6:00pm Friday evening…jeeeezz. That took everything I had, mentally and physically. My head wanted to pack before I’d even started the 2nd HMP mile🤷🏻‍♂️😂, but I didn’t! Really did not think I’d complete the final HMP mile, but I did! Wowzers🥵🥵. Self-reflection is 10, as it took so much to complete that session. I need to do some serious stretching today

Ultimately we are training for those tough moments in races and by the sounds of it, not many races will be harder than this. So that mental challenge you overcome here sets you up nicely for those big events. And you should store this in the memory bank. Next time a race or training run gets tough, just remind yourself how you pulled through this one and felt proud of yourself. That should trigger the self belief you can do it again, and again, and again. Great work Joe!
