60 Mins Tempo (HM)

LOAD: 42

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

60 Mins @ Half Marathon Pace (RPE: 6-8)

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

A good opportunity to practice goal pace for an steady run. The more comfortable you get at goal pace the easier it will feel on race day.

Really happy with this one. When I began the warm up I wasn’t sure about the 5.5 group but glad I went with them and I was particularly pleased with how I tackled Filsham! I didn’t have time for a full 10 min cool down unfortunately but did a long warm up.

Yeah I saw the pace on Strava and really impressed. This was a really good idea and a great way to get some half marathon paced effort whilst running the group. Hopefully a big confidence boost for the HHM, especially if you were able to successfully negotiate Filsham Road as well.
