The big one!! For most of us at least. Try to have a clear pacing strategy and don’t go off too fast. The early hills will be tough, but if you dig deep and don’t panic, it’s gets easier once you hit the ridge. Go smash it!

👊 Nailed my target

1:42:30 ish. Was aiming for 1:45. Paced it well at start, felt good so sped up. Struggled along sea front and had to walk on two occasions. Also couldnt go quicker than 5min km in the last 3km. Overall i was very happy with what i achieved

That’s a huge improvement. I seem to recall we were close by last year when I was pacing 1:50, so a really strong time, especially in that wind at the end. Great running Matt and every reason to be pleased with this one. Keep up the consistency with the training and there will be more strong races ahead.
