A really good session to do as a group the week in the lead up to a half marathon. It gives you an opportunity to run a few miles at goal pace and also get some speed in the legs.

I didnt actually do the planned session. Sorry I know it was more benificial but wasnt feeling running 2x 12 mins around the track on my own. Sometimes the self doubt creeps in and I just thought I would probably give up after the first 12 minutes as id get bored! I joined Andy and Rachel and did the 20x 200m hope this is alright! Actually really enjoyed it and good!

It’s fine. I’d much rather you enjoy the session and run with the others. It still has the same training effect albeit not quite as specific to Sunday but it’s not going to make a difference. So no need to apologies. I would have had everyone bar Andy doing the 2 x 12 in truth, but he’s not running Sunday and obviously Rachael rocking up too changed things, so I get the appeal. Well done by the way on completing the 200s. Roll on Sunday.
