A really good session to do as a group the week in the lead up to a half marathon. It gives you an opportunity to run a few miles at goal pace and also get some speed in the legs.

Good to do a session but keep something in the tank. I could have run 5K pace for 12 minutes but did me good to save a bit. Same for the one minute reps

Yeah that’s a good taper session that just to make sure you don’t overdo things but also give an idea that half marathon pace actually isn’t that quick. Thanks for holding back and not pushing too hard.
