Hastings Half Marathon

LOAD: 66

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

13.1 Miles @ HM Pace (RPE: 6)

The big one!! For most of us at least. Try to have a clear pacing strategy and don’t go off too fast. The early hills will be tough, but if you dig deep and don’t panic, it’s gets easier once you hit the ridge. Go smash it!

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

🙄 Just a fraction slow

PACE

Felt a fraction to slow but was pleased with the effort and result Have a bad head cold so think that actually didn’t help plus the head wind when I was tired Know I can improve on this but really happy

It’s all about stepping stones to be honest. Making those small improvements each month. Trust me, you’ll reach a point when improvement is really hard to come by, so it’s better to make gradual gains now (took me over 3 years to get that bloody sub 3:30). A 1 minute PB in my opinion is better than a 10 min PB because it means you’ll more likely to beat it again in the future 🤷‍♂️😂 Well done Chrissie
