Plan 2 – Week 9

Don’t know why, but feel like I’ve been running really tired last few weeks and this week was not particularly heavy. I do think I’m ready for a race. It’s been 4-5 months since last one and think I need on, mentally.

I’m feeling good – did 21 in under 1.33 today, including the easy Kms – so feel I can get under 1.30. Climate is a lot hotter where I’m going for the race but 2000m below Bogotรก, so hoping the drop in altitude be a bigger advantage than the heat will be a disadvantage…. we’ll see!

And yep, footy on Tuesdays (this week will be the last one I do before the half)

Another excellent week Ben, really well done. I understand what you are saying. It’s been a long build up for you given you missed the big race at the end of the last plan. So now is the time to take advantage of that hard work with the two races coming up. But what I can say is I really feel like you’re peaking just at the right time. Feels to me you’re running better now than any point since we started working together which is exciting.
