Plan 8 – Week 9

  • Sep 29-5

Sorry Simon, last week was a complete write off. It all started ok but went off the rails after Wednesdays S & C. I think a combination of things happened, my arthritis is playing up a bit at present, I’m seeing them tomorrow and need to see if they can do anything on that front. I was trying to do too many things aside from training and just got over tired and I got bitten on one of my legs while working in the garden and that swelled up and got mighty sore for a couple of days. Then to cap the week off Parkrun was cancelled and at that I just accepted that that week just wasn’t meant to be. A couple of days rest and a nice solo track session today and I feel a lot fresher and happier so will see where this week takes me.

No injury issues

COACH

Please don’t ever feel the need to apologise. It’s not necessary. Sounds like you needed the rest and it’s important to listen to the body. It’s the one thing as a coach I don’t have the knowledge or information on (how my runners feel on any given day). Hopefully you can get some answers in that department. I’m just glad you are feeling better this week and the track session went well.
