8 x 2 Mins & 1 Mins

LOAD: 28

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

8 x 2 Mins @ 3K Pace (RPE: 8)
90 Second Recovery

8 x 1 Min @ <3K Pace (RPE: 9)
60 Second Recovery

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

A great 5k session to improve speed. Don’t got off too quick, so focus on your pace in those first few reps, then you’ll get an idea of how far you can run each rep. From there you can then pick up the pace and cadence for the 1 minute reps.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

Did the interval session at run club, it was hills this time. Effort up the hill and recovery down for 5 minutes, and we did this on 4 different hills with a recovery jog between each hill. Session ended with a shuttle run on the final hill so effort up and down the hill depending on which shuttle you were on. Really tough but really pleased with my pace for uphill running!

Great work and again love the fact you are running with others doing these sessions now. Hill sessions are great as they can work you so hard and also improve your form. Glad this went so well and that you enjoyed it too. Feel like you’re back on a bit of a roll again now with your running and just at the right time. Excellent work Sarah.
