Plan 1 – Week 15

  • Oct 6-12

Obviously, I’m disappointed to have missed so many sessions, but it was of course with good reason, as I was quite unwell. Still not 100% but better than I was. If I’m being honest, I didn’t really take your advice with yesterday’s HM session, and I went out trying to run at the same pace as if I wasn’t ill, rather than focus on RPE. I don’t tend to get properly ill very often, so hopefully that’s it for the winter. I’ve invested in some multi-vitamins and I’m gonna eat more fruit!

Even with a very poor training week, I feel I’m still where I want to be with my running and I’m already looking forward to the next plan starting. I’m guessing you’d like to know what races I have planned in the duration of the next plan. Could you please tell me the dates the plan runs from and to, then I’ll let you know.

Let’s go smash another week 👊🏻

No injury issues

COACH

Not the worst week ever. More than I’ve done for about 3 weeks (apart from Chester) due to illness and rest. That’s good you’ve got a few days off, to play with and hopefully will allow for a decent week. In terms of going forward, the best approach is to send me all the races you hope to do in a priority order. So what the most important race is and then working down, that way I can tailor the plan around the races, rather than the other way around.
