Really like this session. A chance to practice your 10k pace, but break it down into chunks to make it manageable. Enjoy. You got this.

Not sure i could manage the full 10k or 5k at the speeds I ran today but wanted to push myself. Legs still a bit heavy from Sunday so really pleasedwith that session.

To hit those paces on tired legs is really impressive and has already made my morning in truth. When we do any training run, it’s natural for us to think, well I couldn’t do that for the whole distance. I pretty much thought that after every marathon session I did. But it’s important we ignore that mindset and focus on the session we’ve just done. Worry about race day when it comes and make sure we celebrate every training success. Cos that’s what this was, another really well executed session, and if we keep banking these, then come race day, we’ll find that extra, even if it means we can’t walk for the next 3 days 🤦‍♂️ Great work Danny.
