Plan 8 – Week 10

  • Oct 6-12

Failed miserably, the one S & C session I had just didn’t happen. No excuses, I kept moving it forward on my plan saying I’d do it tomorrow and tomorrow just never happened. I think I was feeling a bit flat and P***** off maybe and it’s hard to get motivated in that frame of mind. Still, today’s 10k picked me up a lot and I’m looking forward to the coming week and hope to be a touch more positive with it.

No injury issues

SUMMARY

  • Week: 🙄 Not quite good enough
  • Plan: 😏 Pretty pleased

INJURIES/NIGGLES 🚑

Nothing new

COACH

This might make you feel better than the original target for last week was 90pts, you banked 90pts, even without the S&C. Maybe somewhere in your subconscious you knew that 🤷‍♂️ I’m really pleased Sunday went well. I’ve taken out one of the S&C this week too as again we were over target in terms of the pts. Given you’re not racing next week we don’t need to push as hard over the next 7 days. This plan was always about returning back to running and building the fitness and think Sunday was a good indication you’re on the right path, so I think lots of positives to take and definitely not worth worrying about that one missed session.
