Keep the long runs at a low effort level. Obviously the longer the time wears on the harder the run will become. Make sure you hydrate and take fuel with you.

Did the 120 min as i wanted to do group run. Should have finished with run to azure and back at the end. Will do in future if in that situation again

Nice to run with you Matt. You’re obviously a numbers guy and the way my plans are created it’s all about the numbers. Hit the weekly target and you’re making progress. Fall a little short and yes, you may still improve, but it’s less likely. So that then raises the point on a run like this when you get to 120 mins, do I run that 20 extra knowing that will make me progress, or do I just stop here? That’s when the answer is obvious, keep going, hit those targets. That said, after Saturday, I’m not too worried as you’re running great, but I want you to reach that potential and keep improving, hence the above feedback.
