A really good session where you can work on your speed and form. Important that you are going quicker than your current 5k pace to make gains. Run tall and proud.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

๐Ÿ‘Š Nailed my target

PACE

I showed up on sore muscles but I showed up ๐Ÿ˜Š I have it 110% of anything I had to make it the best I could. Donโ€™t suppose I can ask any more of myself. I really tried to push and I feel I got quicker as the reps went on. I felt like I wanted to stop 2 reps to the end but the girls encouraged me which was great and of course I was never going to quit and give in ๐Ÿ˜Šbut it was hard on my legs !

Ultimately training is to prepare ourselves for the race day experience. And in any race where we want to run a PB, it’s going to be tough, either the effort level or when our legs start to hurt. So sometimes (definitely not always) doing a session on tired legs is good practice for when that moment arrives on race day. So really well done today Michelle, looked like a lovely group to run with.
