Plan 1 – Week 12

I tested my knee once and it didn’t feel right so I need to leave it another week I think. I’ve done strength training and stretching. I could do them. I’ll have to be patient for now.

I can walk and move it but I still feel pain when I jog.

COACH

Let’s give it another week and see how it feels. I might just be superficial damage which means it will be painful when you run, especially the first 10 mins, but you might find if it’s just bruising then as the join loosen up it could feel better. Maybe late in the week try an easy 20-30 minute run to see if does start to loosen up. I’m not worried though, you’re running great and we have loads of time until London. A few weeks off at this stage won’t make a difference.
