Plan 2 – Week 12

Not a great week. Maybe playing football Tuesday was an error, tbh. It’s something I would have done when I was 25, and just think my body now needs longer to recover. That said, got Sunday’s run in, which I was pleased with.

I wouldn’t be too disappointed in truth. 88% of training pts banked a week after a tough half marathon. That’s a decent return. I get the dilemma with football, especially if you’re living out of the country and do most of your running solo. It’s important to find that balance with the social side of things, so again I wouldn’t be self critical. Great to hear that you’re flying back to the UK for a bit. That will be nice to mix it up and cool conditions should make Sunday’s run fairly comfortable. If you do need to change things around this week that’s cool and I appreciate the travel will have an impact. Main thing is Sunday’s run.
