Plan 7 – Week 1

I did miss my swim but my 50k was actually 33 miles and I did an extra gym session earlier in the week so hopefully i’ve made up for it points wise.

It’s a week I’ll never forget. I was so overwhelmed by all the support on the 50k. How lucky are we to have such a great club and Team Orange were a massive part of it. I’m feeling particularly proud and my cup is definitely full today.

It’s given me a real confidence boost and I’m really hoping this is the start of the next chapter and I’m looking forward to what’s to come with my running over the next few months

Things have felt a lot better this week and I didn’t have any issues on the ultra other than just getting a bit tired and achy. I kept thinking about standing tall

To be honest you smashed through the roof in terms of training points this week. Probably the highest you’ve ever achieved. I’m so glad it went well yesterday. You deserved that so much. To hear that the glute didn’t give you any pain either is fantastic and actually makes me a little emotional to be honest, given you’ve had to deal with it so much. I really hope you are right and this is the start of something special. You should be so proud of yourself right now. I am. Proud of you that is, not myself πŸ™„ Fantastic work Alice.
