The biggest mistake we can make with these recovery runs is running too fast. This will mean when our harder sessions come round we are still fatigued and not able to put enough effort in to make the necessary gains.

Met Sue and Andy to jog too and from track, plus 45 min easy with Sue and 4 strides. Hoping this covers the 40 min easy and 30 min swim as probably won’t get this in now as busy Friday evening. Will increase cycle to 45 min if I can tonight. Having said that, my legs are a bit fatigued, so it won’t be a full on push.

If my sums are right. 21 points banked here. So yes, exactly what 40 mins easy and 30 mins swim would have given you. Ideal. Great work Su. Have a rest perhaps. You might even like the new dashboard (coming next week) when I add “Rest Days” to the schedule.
