Plan 7 – Week 2

It wasn’t the most productive week but I did still get things done. I had to make adaptions based on where I was and accept that some sessions just weren’t going to work this week. I was very much thinking of it as a recovery week and looking forward to getting stuck back into some more serious training and rebuilding my fitness over the next few weeks.

My back has been quite uncomfortable this week – mainly due to the amount of sitting i’ve had to do for travelling. Trying my best to keep it moving and stretched. The glute os so much better now though which feels like a massive win!

The most important thing for a week like this is the mindset. There was a level of inevitability it would pan out this way after the Ultra and with the traveling. So what’s key is you remind yourself how well you are doing right now and that this week won’t make any difference to that.
