You’re a legend. Firstly congratulations on a fantastic time. Really impressed with the splits and you did well do dig deep there at the end. 3rd in Sussex is awesome. But love how you have ambitions to improve, that really excites me as a coach. Take a week off, we’ll chat at track and discuss what next. Well done Allan.

Sorry. I need to stop telling you about these races with poor underfoot conditions. But still good to be out on your feet for over 2 hours. That’s decent marathon training too and often the uneven ground can strengthen your ankles. Glad to hear you are ok and still no injuries. Well done Allan. I think we both know in different circumstances you are a lot quicker than that.

It was tough race today with the heat, not to mentioned you raced Monday too. But the feedback about the legs and you not feeling tired is great. This was never a goal race for you, so main focus is on the long run this week. Well done Allan, always great to have you along at these races.
