I know what you maybe thinking …. This was longer than planned and more miles BUT honestly it was slower, plenty of waking, and mostly nearly all off road through fields and paths. It was bout me with Alice until mile 14.5 as Joe was joing but has an issue with his bike and got lost πŸ™ˆ three was no way I was going to leave Alice on her own. I don’t feel exhausted or broken, as we took it easy. Added bonus I do feel the terrible hills were great training for Beckley next week 😊 it was lovely to support Alice, I finished at battle and some others picked up to carry on to rye. I felt good and really absolutely loved it 😊

Honestly not a problem. To be honest it wouldn’t have been that much more in terms of training effect than a steady 2 hours on the tarmac. So I’m not too worried. Plus you’ve banked some bonus points too which always make me happy. So pleased you enjoyed it as much as you did and were able to support Alice on her Ultra.
