120 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-5)

2 hours is a long time to run and it’s likely it will get tough in the last 30 mins. So dig deep, focus on good form and keep going. You got this!

Repetition definitely breeds confidence so once you’ve done 3 or 4 of these you’ll approach the 10 miler races knowing you can do them. Always the option to join the Sunday gang if you wanted some company.

Started ok. Ran from home with gradual inclines – legs got very tired at about 7 miles. Pushed it a bit further but maxxed out at 8.5 – sorry coach! Hopefully this week will be better.

It happens. Long runs are tough. Could be a number of factors in truth. Best to not overthink it go again. Some runs are just tougher than others. 1:45 is still really good and shows progress from what you were doing a few months back. So well done Philippa.
