Long Run – 120 Mins

LOAD: 350

120 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-5)

2 hours is a long time to run and it’s likely it will get tough in the last 30 mins. So dig deep, focus on good form and keep going. You got this!

15 Miles. Keep the pace easy, but you can pretty much turn this into a session by using the trails and some hills. They should be good right now given the lack of recent rain.

What a run that was never done rhe route before which made it more interesting and went at a pace that I could take it all in. It’s been a solid week of training with juat over 36 miles covered and nearly 4000ft of elevation too feeling strong and happy the be hitting that millage.

How much elevation 😂 I think it’s important to ease back the pace sometimes and just soak everything up. Save the quicker miles for the key sessions nearer race week. What these next 6-8 weeks are about is adding a bit more of an aerobic base, getting stronger and then we kick on again with the quicker half marathon sessions. But great job Steve. Glad to hear how much you enjoyed it as well.
