Long Run – 120 Mins

LOAD: 350

120 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-5)

2 hours is a long time to run and it’s likely it will get tough in the last 30 mins. So dig deep, focus on good form and keep going. You got this!

I bloody did it!! 2hrs 🥳 Not the most enjoyable as you well know. That route was awful due the traffic and dust but I knew I could time it for the 2hr mark. If you have any 2hr run recommendations that would be appreciated. I just want to say thank you for your support as your words go along way when running boundaries are being pushed. I definitely would have stopped sooner if you hadn’t said to dig deep so thank you 🙏

Superb. To get this done so soon after Sunday and in such a busy week is amazing. Definitely give yourself some respect here, you deserve. I am very impressed. The 1066 country path is a good one, heads both directions out of Battle, although it can be a bit dicey in places (mud and nettles) so it does slow you down. You could reach the link road path via Crowhurst too in 60 mins, but then that’s very hilly. Battle itself isn’t the best in truth for road runs as you’re limited in options. Great work Lou!!
