Long Run – 120 Mins

LOAD: 350

120 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-5)

2 hours is a long time to run and it’s likely it will get tough in the last 30 mins. So dig deep, focus on good form and keep going. You got this!

Cruise control on!! Still a chance to work on that form. When the left arm goes back see if you can almost brush your shirt with your hand, that will keep the arms nice and tight to you body which in turn will increase your cadence. A simply change like that could be the difference between a 10k PB, if can get the cadence up 1-2 SPM.

Solo long run this morning, didn’t fancy a really early start or Nicks route so opted to go out on my own! Concentrated more on form than anything else, especially the arms.

Sometimes it’s nice to have that headspace. I needed that myself in truth and loved it. Gives you the chance to work on things like form which is always pleasing to hear as a coach.
