Long Run – 120 Mins

LOAD: 350

120 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-5)

2 hours is a long time to run and it’s likely it will get tough in the last 30 mins. So dig deep, focus on good form and keep going. You got this!

Hopefully you can join the gang 💚🖤

Ended at 90 mins. Had to get up and out super early but just didn’t feel right the whole time. My heart rate was going crazy in the first 2 miles. Walked a lot. 11 min miles felt like 5 min miles. Just one of those days where nothing quite goes to plan. Felt rubbish and unwell. I think it’s just a female thing and hopefully I’ll be feeling much better next week. Going to do the hot and cold treatment on the glute everyday again. My Mum made a good point yesterday that a lot of my trouble is probably coming from carrying Etta. I was carrying her and my back so so painful. I’d carried her up over the west hill on Monday. 15kg of wiggling weight isn’t doing my posture any good!

Sorry to hear your run didn’t go well today. All I would say is I’ve been going through the feedback this morning and you’re not the only one. Bad runs happen and sometimes it’s important not to overthink it. Still 90 mins banked. That’s an interesting point your mum makes and obviously as some stage Etta is going to become a bit too heavy. Perhaps try and avoid that for a bit and see what happens. Hopefully this week will bring some better runs.
