Long Run – 120 Mins

LOAD: 350

120 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-5)

2 hours is a long time to run and it’s likely it will get tough in the last 30 mins. So dig deep, focus on good form and keep going. You got this!

Not even half the time you ran for at Paris. So whilst it might seem like a chore, you know you can do it. Sometimes running somewhere new can help. If you have the time, somewhere like the Cuckoo Trail or even off road.

Took your advice and went to the Cuckoo Trail. It was so nice to run somewhere new. Felt alot better than yesterday’s efforts, all good up to 14k and then I did stop a bit on the way back. I have no idea why I cant keep going for 2 hours, when I ran for 4 hours without stopping, it’s annoying! Anyway longest run since Paris so happy with that!

Glad this went well. Again, I probably just put that down to motivation. Perhaps the heat as well. I like the switch up too. Ore to Rye is another good option for an adventure. £3 for the bus back. Things like that can make us enjoy running again. Well done though Rachael. Keep ticking along and mix things up if you can.
