120 Mins

LOAD: 36

120 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Long runs are a crucial part of any plan. You’ll need to do these to improve. Again running with a group can really help. Be sure to hydrate and fuel.

Not much can beat a long run when it comes to training effect.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

🙄 Just a fraction slow

PACE

Felt good, pace was slower than i have done recently (about 6min km). But no walking stopsetc. Just slow and steady.
Matt Button
Well done Matt. It’s fine to drop the pace on the long runs from time to time. In fact it’s actively encouraged by a lot of coaches. As long as you are still running with good form then it’s fine. Keeping that RPE down is the most important thing.
