140 Minute Long Run

LOAD: 43

140 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-6)

Keep the long runs at a low effort level. Obviously the longer the time wears on the harder the run will become. Make sure you hydrate and take fuel with you.

RPE

👊 Nailed my target

PACE

No issues as per plan, 18.50mi, average pace 7:49, average HR 151. Felt strong 3x gels. 44 miles for the week.

I love this. As planned we’ve pretty much got you in that position that if you did want to do an October/November Marathon it’s now viable. I quite like the idea, even it’s just dress rehearsal for Manchester next year. That way if anything doesn’t go to plan, whether it been in the training build up, the taper, or the race, you give yourself that opportunity to change that for Manchester. Great running Adam.
