Stood for an hour and it was painful like having toothache in my back and buttock. I hope a few weeks rest will be enough. This time last year I couldn’t run for three months. I’ll go and see the doctor if this doesn’t clear up in weeks.

Yeah just rest up for now. Do what you can. Icing, hot water bottle. I’ve been using ibuprofen and arnica for my IT band issue as well. Also some Tiger Balm always feels good when it warms and soothes. I really hope it clears up quickly as I know it can be really painful.
