LOAD: 51

2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

1km @ Half Marathon Pace (RPE: 5-8)

2km CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

This is one my favourite half marathon sessions. Hopefully goal pace will feel comfortable, until those last 3-4 reps when you’ll need to work hard. If it goes well this will give you a big confidence boost for race day, knowing the pace is achievable.

Best to pick a flat route. This was one of the key sessions for me before my half PB earlier in the year and I just did 15 loops of the lower park. Go smash it!

Felt good today until the CD of going up old London road, so I pretty much walked it! Still felt strong and was a touch too fast for some of those reps! Seafront was a good shout! I did kick a curb and now have a sore toenail 🤦🏻‍♀️

Excellent splits for those reps so really well done. Very impressed, especially two days after the race on Thursday. No worries on the CD and hope the toenail is ok. That doesn’t sound much fun. But what a brilliant few days. Every reason to be very positive about your running right now Kirsty.
