Late train, smashed my head on a tree and heavily overgrown on the first few miles. Not the best start but once I got going all went well. Cut it to 18miles and will run parkrun easy Saturday at Seaford. Decent effort and Garmin is now saying 3:01 marathon getting there 🤣

I imagine at first you must have been cursing, but glad it went well in the end. As long as Garmin says 2:59:59 come Sunday the 5th October then all is good with the World. We’ve just booked our train tickets too and feels like it’s all getting real now with the date closing it. So excited.
