150 Mins

LOAD: 45

150 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

All about time on feet. Don’t focus on pace. Instead keep that effort level down and concentrate on good running economy. Fuelling and hydration key too.

9 weeks until the Ultra so time to increase these long runs. All about time on feet. Don’t worry too much about pace. Also a good chance to practice fuelling and start introducing some of the kit you’ll wear for the ultra.

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

As I didn’t have Parkrun in, decided to do this on Saturday as it was Sue’s last one for a while and I love doing Parkrun., so ran down with the gang, and home again. Really enjoyed it; even with a 3 mile uphill on the way home. Almost disappointed to have a cutback week coming! 😂

Excellent work Sue!!! So glad to hear how much you are enjoying your training at the moment and I think that’s always the most important thing. Perhaps the change up from chasing a specific race time has helped and something to bear in mind for the future. Enjoying the process has to be the most important thing.
