Quality session this. One you can combine with parkrun if you wanted, to make the 10k segment feel easier.

A good one to incorporate with parkrun.

Woke up with abit of a dodgy stomach. Didn’t 2k warm up and then Parkrun to see how I felt! Spent abit of time in the toilet and then did the 2k cool down. If I had pushed 10k pace I’m convinced I’d have shit myself. Couldn’t quite hit the 6:15 pace but the wind and my stomach was a big factor in that.

No worries 😂 That’s the last thing I would want. Might be worth thinking back to what you had eaten the evening before and whether that played a part. Just in case it can help you avoid a repeat scenario.
