LOAD: 150

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
20 Minutes @ HM Pace (RPE: 6)
10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

Just a nice short burst of half marathon pace!!

Pacing Kev. Conal may also be going for sub 20, so you might have more company.

PACE

I felt for Kev and Conal here. They were cruising a mile in and even at 2k but it all went wrong at the ramp up from bottle alley. We hit the turn at 9:59. Unfortunately the second half was running into the wind. Tried to lift Conal but I think this was more mental than physical because he’s clearly there fitness wise. Kev is the same. They are both there. Just need the right day for it! I know it’s a luxury/expected for me now to run at faster paces but if I’m running that pace in twenty years I’ll be extremely grateful! Always love the pacing though!

Thanks for helping them. God yeah, they are both superb runners. To be doing that at their age puts them miles ahead of me. To be honest, that’s my goal, longevity. I’d love to be able to make a few gains over the next few years, but ultimately it’s running for the next 20+ and running well that really excites me.
