parkrun

LOAD: 30

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
8 x 100 metre Strides (RPE: 8)

parkrun @ 5km Pace (RPE: 8)

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Running with others can reduce perceived effort so parkrun is a good option as an alternative speed session. 10 mins easy WU & CD please.

Have a great run!! Hope it goes well.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

It’s always interesting visiting a new Parkrun for the first time. So getting up and heading to Victoria Dock was going to be good considering it was flat. I warmed up well and when they listened to the first timers briefing they told me the route was changing. The issue with the change of route was it was running on cobblestones, which wasn’t comfortable on the legs. Six sharp turns but kept to the plan ran first two miles at 5:55 then pushed the last mile. Was happy with the performance and on a better course probably could have pushed abit more! But overall happy with that!!

Very unlucky that they had changed the course for your visit. Did they say why? But most important thing from a training perspective is you put the effort in and got it done. So great work Jack. Plus the “V” ticked off which I’m guessing was part of the reason for the visit 🤔
