60 Mins Easy (Hills)

LOAD: 24

60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-5)

60 mins on the flat is quite different to 60 mins on the hills. So it’s important to differentiate between the two and if you do a hilly easy run, to account for that extra training load and how it might impact the rest of your week.

Good practice for the goal races like Battle and HHM to get some hill work in.

ENJOYMENT

RPE

👊 Nailed my target

PACE

Feel like I nailed the easy run with this. I know it wasn’t ‘hilly’ but my other run this week was. My daughter wanted to come and ride her bike and I couldn’t refuse her face 💗 Really enjoyed this run. Niggles = Whole left leg felt a bit weird I’m sure it’s all linked to my hip

Really nice to hear you enjoyed this so much and got to do it with your daughter. No worries about the hills, as you say, most of your other runs have hills in there, so it’s no an issue. Yeah just keep an eye on the leg and hip to make sure it doesn’t get any worse, but great work Lou!
