20 x 1 Minute Reps

LOAD: 24

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

60 Seconds @ Fast Pace (RPE: 9)
60 Seconds Recovery
x 20

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Another very simple session. 60 seconds on, 60 second walk or static recovery. Don’t go off too fast as 20 reps is a lot. You should feel like you’re working at a very high effort level towards the last 15 seconds of each rep. Go get ’em!

This week looks super busy at first glance. But the long run is only 10 miles.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

PACE

Starting the week strong 😊 or should that be tough 🤣 That was a beast in the warmer weather. I have a lot to that session and really felt I worked hard. I’m not sure how much I enjoyed it but I did feel good for completing all 20 reps. I know it is a great benefit for me. Great group to which was lovely

I think in the moment, the actual 1 minute reps, it’s normal to question the enjoyment. But my response to that would be the session as a whole ran from 6:15-7:30. 75 mins, 20 of which were tough, in fact we could probably argue the first 20-30s of each rep were not awful, right? So if that inevitable question of why do I do this to myself, does ever crop up, it will, trust me, it’s those other 55 or 65 minutes, that we spend with positive, driven people that make it all worthwhile 😁 Fantastic running Michelle and great to have you along. Work hard in these and your times will continue to improve.
