10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Another very simple session. 60 seconds on, 60 second walk or static recovery. Don’t go off too fast as 20 reps is a lot. You should feel like you’re working at a very high effort level towards the last 15 seconds of each rep. Go get ’em!

Really tough session, was difficult to keep up pace for the full 60 seconds.

It’s a challenging one this and all about that pacing, understanding what you can maintain for 60 secs. Pretty everyone starts too fast when they do this session. But the idea being if you run much quicker than 5k pace in training, when the time comes to run that 5k pace, it actually feels quite slow and easier (for a few km at least). Great work Glenn.
