20 x 1 Minute Reps

LOAD: 240

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

1 x 60 Seconds @ <3K Pace (RPE: 9)
60 Seconds Recovery
x 20

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Another very simple session. 60 seconds on, 60 second walk or static recovery. Don’t go off too fast as 20 reps is a lot. You should feel like you’re working at a very high effort level towards the last 15 seconds of each rep.

A really good track session for you. A case of getting some speed in the legs. I’m wary you are coming off a busy weekend, so no need to go 100% here. Just keep the reps consistent.

Wow that was tough in the wind & rain!! Music stopped working about half a mile in so had to faff to get it working again! Then my watch stopped after 1.5 miles so had to restart and guess how many reps I had left! I was 1 out 🤣🤣 Think my splits were ok ish most of the time!! Did the majority of them along bottle alley to get out the wind but it was a bit slippery!! Plus hip was a bit niggly today!

I feel like I have sent you out to be tortured. I’m so sorry. I had no idea the forecast was that bad. It was lovely in the park last night. But fantastic effort for getting out there. It’s when we run in those conditions that we can then appreciate the better weather but also be prepared on those race days when it is bad. Pier to Pier for example. That wind and rain didn’t actually bother me at all having run in much worse conditions over the winter. Great job though Klare. Love the commitment. It’s sessions like this where you earn the PB in a few months time.
