20 x 1 Minute Reps

LOAD: 240

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

160 Seconds @ <3K Pace (RPE: 9)
60 Seconds Recovery
x 20

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Another very simple session. 60 seconds on, 60 second walk or static recovery. Don’t go off too fast as 20 reps is a lot. You should feel like you’re working at a very high effort level towards the last 15 seconds of each rep. Go get ’em!

My spreadsheet says night shifts this week? In which case a few of us are likely to be 20 x 1 minutes if you wanted to join? The plan has 24 x 200 metres if you wanted to go solo. Virtually identical sessions.

Went a bit hard today considering the beer yesterday. Still I stuck with it and had a decent pacer to chase in front of me (thank you for that). Going to try and have a chilled week now and prep for Sunday
Paul Lambert
Yeah great session. Kept me honest knowing you were on my tail, so thank you for that. Impressive given yesterdays downtime, which is important too. Well done Paul. Another exciting weekend ahead. Good time to be running well.
