A real opportunity to work on both speed and good running economy. Train faster to race faster. I love this session.

👊 Nailed my target

PACE

So that was hard work but I suppose it was meant to be. Suprised by hot weather so that made it even harder. Lindsey obviously didn’t want to be Billy no mates 😂 so joined Rachael and myself doing 200s. That helped me no end as I was chasing her all the time but stayed ahead of Rachael as well. Nailed target pace or just under on every rep so pleased with my consistency for a change although I did lengthen recovery time 2 or 3 times to get my breath back. Good stride length throughout of 1.25m but cadence seemed very low today of 107spm average, not sure if that’s correct though 🤔

Great work Andy. Nice to have some decent weather to finish the autumn with. I’ll deal with Lindsey later 😂 I can only assume that cadence including your recovery, speaking of which, I’d much rather you did that for a few reps and then hit the pace, than restrict it to 60 seconds and end up slowing down, so no worries at all about that.
