A real opportunity to work on both speed and good running economy. Train faster to race faster.

I’ll be in the park (no track) Tuesday morning, but we’ll also be doing this session with the gang in the evening, again the park. Given we’ve just brought speed work back you don’t need to go crazy, just keep it consistent. That pace will return in a few months time.

PACE

Was dreading this but was actually pretty pleased with it. Felt a million times better than the beginning of the week. Hip still not great but looked back at my pace on the same session I did a year ago and my pace is pretty much the same so happy with that. Feeling a bit more motivated again. Also would it be OK if I did parkrun on sat instead of the other session. I’ve got a friend coming over from Brighton and he wants to do parkrun.

Fantastic. Pace was excellent. I do like 200s. It might be in the future that if motivation is low and you want a session you enjoy, you request this and I can fit it into the schedule. Lovely that you had Nikki for company too. Great work Rachael.
