20 x 30 Sec Hills

LOAD: 23

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

1 x 30 Second Hill Rep (RPE: 9)
60 Seconds Downhill @ Easy Pace (RPE: 4)
x 20

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Great session as hill reps force you to run with good form, lifting the knees higher and really driving the elbows back. Work hard for the 30 seconds uphill, recovery back down for 60 seconds.

RPE

🙄 Just a fraction slow

Must admit, I didn’t follow the plan completely. Arriving to the hills was a lot of uphill. I then ran to the top of the hill, which was around 2 minutes. Did 10 reps up hill and back down. I was running tired tbh, and don’t feel I had much in the legs. But I wanted to get some good hills in and I think I did that

So 10 x 2 mins uphill. That’s still a quality session and will have helped you with some big gains. So no worries on slightly mixing things up on this occasion. Hopefully you manage to get some decent rest before heading out again. Well done Ben.
