210 Mins

LOAD: 63

210 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-7)

This is a long time to be out running, so ensuring you have enough water and fuel is vital. Plot your route carefully.

Don’t overthink it is my advice. And just because you feel tired at 120 mins, doesn’t mean you will feel that way at 180s mins. In fact I had the exact same experience in a recent long run where I felt so much better at the end of my 3 hours than halfway through. You got this Andy 💪

🙄 Just a fraction slow

PACE

Entered the Saturn Run with Sarah. Fantastic event. Did 3 x 7km laps to take me to half marathon distance. Paced this really well and held back to conserve some energy. Was very tired starting the 4th lap so dropped the pace a little but was determined to do it! Got to 3hrs 30 and decided it would be perfect opportunity to get to the magic 20miles every talks about in marathon training. So did a half lap extra. Really happy with how this went. I did slow down and took some walk breaks but don’t really mind. Super proud of myself for this one.

Love this. Every reason to be super proud of this one. I love the fact you did that extra and shows your determination which will be so important on the day of the marathon. Sounds like a really good event and hopefully a big confidence boost. Pace? Don’t worry about that here. That’s not important. All about getting that distance in and time on feet. Hopefully now you can see that the marathon is achievable. Excellent work Andy.
