240 Min Long Run

LOAD: 850

240 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3-8)

All about time on feet. Don’t push the pace early on and ensure you are well hydrated and have fuel to take on at regular intervals.

Important we pick back up where we left off and keep the mileage high. Next week is a marathon in the schedule 😬 So perhaps worth trying to plan something for that? Let me know what you come up with.

That felt so hard this morning! I was being a proper negative Nelly which is quite unlike me. At one point I hated running so much I was retiring 🤦‍♀️ I had to make deals with myself, get to that junction & you can have a sweetie, get to the garage & have a little walk, that kind of thing. I walked all of Filsham Road, I just couldn’t face it. Bit of a disappointment today

Still got very close to 4 hours of running though. 4 hours! It’s a long time and it is hard to have that motivation all the time. But I like the strategies you employed to get through it, that’s pretty clever. Shit runs happen more often than you think, but the benefit of having a shit run is when you do feel good a few weeks down the line, you appreciate it a whole lot more. Really well Stacey for getting this done.
