A good opportunity to practice some marathon pace on your long run. Crucial if you have a time in mind. Also sometimes a good option to add some variety to a normal 2 hour long run.

Nice to mix things up with a session like this. Keep to marathon pace. It’s been a big week already and we don’t want to push too hard.

Great Long run session went by quick ! I done this on some terrain that i knew had a few different hills rolling terrain just to replicate what stockholm marathon is like with a few different bridges and underpasses – AVG 4:02 for the 20Mins blocks which is faster than the SUB 3 pace but honestly just felt comfortable so rolled with it!

Absolutely quality. I’m happy with those splits and if you can train at quicker than target pace it will only feel easier on the day. But as mentioned on WhatsApp I think we need to stick with the sub 3 goal for now. Great session though Kieran to cap off an excellent week of training.
